In October 2021, following the poor performance of the KSČM in the parliamentary elections, Konečná was elected chairwoman of the party, becoming the first woman to lead the party in its history. Her goal was to modernize the party and restore its relevance in a shifting political landscape where the traditional far-left was losing traction.
She is a prominent and currently the Chairwoman of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM).
Following her retirement from active performing around 2020, Konec has maintained a very low public profile. Unlike contemporary creators, she has not heavily transitioned into mainstream social media or independent subscription platforms, choosing instead to keep her private life out of the public eye.
